The Air Canada Centre is what the Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association play their entire schedule of regular and post season home games at. The team has been enjoying its stay in the stadium since 1999. The Raptors came into the league at the same time as the Vancouver Grizzlies but ownership alienated the fan base and the team had to leave to another city to be more profitable. The exact opposite has been going on in the Air Canada Centre. The team has made it to the playoffs for three straight seasons, have kept ticket prices at a decent rate and has always done its best to bring in talented players that fans would like to watch play.
The Air Canada Centre is probably better known for the other team that plays all of their home contests within its friendly confines, the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League. The Maple Leafs were one of the original teams in the NHL and are one of the more storied teams in the league. The Air Canada Centre hosted the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs in 2004 and got a chance to experience the excitement of their home team chasing after Lord Stanley’s Cup.
