The Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association play all of their regular season, preseason and playoff games in the Delta Center. The Delta Center is one of the better stadiums when it comes to pleasing the fans. The Delta Center boasts some of the best sightlines in the entire league. The stadium also houses some of the best fans in the NBA. Due to the large population of Mormons in the Salt Lake City area, one is less likely to find alcohol induced rowdiness, but that doesn’t mean that these fans are any less passionate than the liquored up fans of other stadiums.
The Delta Center is always one of the toughest places to play in due to the fans great enthusiasm for the team. The Jazz’s two pushes into the NBA Finals in 1997 and 1998 had a lot to do with the fact that they almost knew that they would win home games. It’s a great credit to the fans and the architects that designed the Delta Center that this building would play such a big part in the success of the team on the court.
