The Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association’s Central Division play all of their home games in the MCI Center. The MCI Center is one of the most advanced stadiums in all of the NBA. The MCI Center has played home to a number of great players, but none of them quite as great as the player who wore number 23 for two seasons, Michael Jordan. When Jordan first announced that he would be playing for the Wizards the team sold out all of their home games before the season even started. Unfortunately Jordan wasn’t able to elevate the team to a level where they would play any games on the MCI Center floor.
The MCI Center is a very versatile stadium. It is also the home of the Washington Mystics of the WNBA, the Washington Capitals of the NHL, and the Georgetown Hoyas of the NCAA. The MCI Center is also one of the best venues to see all kinds of other events like ice shows, gymnastics exhibitions, the circus and big ticket concerts.
