The Target Center is the home court of the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association. The atmosphere at the Target Center is one that is unparalleled among other NBA stadiums. Opposing teams have a great deal of trouble playing at the Target Center due to the high decibels of noise that the fanatical fans create through yelling, stomping their feet, clapping, banging thunder sticks together and so on and so forth. The Minnesota Timberwolves hung up their very first Midwestern Divisional Banner during the 2004-05 season after they won it during the 2003-04 season. The Target Center is also the home of its first ever NBA MVP Kevin Garnett who won the award during the same season and credited part of the award to the amazing fans that show up to the Target Center and support the team.

The reason the stadium was built was to bring big time entertainment to the people of Minnesota. The Target Center is also the home of the Minnesota Lynx of the WNBA. It also is the host of a variety of different events like the circus, the KDWB Jingle Ball, and big time concerts. Some of the artists to make their way trough the Target Center are Elton John, Chicago, Earth, Wind and Fire, Hillary Duff, Usher, Gloria Estefan, The Wiggles and Barney.
