The Orlando Magic of the National Basketball Association play all of their home games in the TD Waterhouse Centre. The stadium is one of the best venues in all of the NBA. In 1991 it was voted Arena of the year and was nominated for the prestigious award two times after their first and only win. The TD Waterhouse Centre has played host to a number of big games for the Orlando Magic. In 1995, TD Waterhouse Centre was the backdrop for two NBA Finals games. From the rafters hang three Atlantic Divisional championship banners, and one Eastern Conference championship banners. In 2003 the fans of the Orlando Magic were treated to Tracy McGrady scoring 62 points in a single game. It marked only the third time that a player had scored over 60 points in a game in the dozen years before that.
The TD Waterhouse Centre isn’t just for basketball; it also hosts all the Orlando Predators of the Arena Football League and Orlando Seals of the ACHL home games. The TD Waterhouse Centre is one of the more versatile venues in the United States because it also hosts concerts, circuses, ice shows, and conventions. The stadium is called “Central Florida’s Home of First Class Sports and Entertainment.”
